Your safety is our top priority. Tourizzt is built on a foundation of trust between Travelers and Localites. This Safety Policy outlines the measures we take and the guidelines we enforce to ensure a secure experience for everyone.

Tourizzt acts as a technology platform connecting users. While we facilitate these connections and implement safety protocols, we do not directly employ Localites or supervise every in-person interaction. We provide the tools for you to make informed decisions.

Every Localite on our platform undergoes a verification process. This includes:

• Government ID verification (Aadhaar / Passport).
• Phone number and email verification.
• Review of their profile content and offerings.

Users must keep their communication within the Tourizzt platform until a booking is confirmed. Sharing personal contact details early exposes you to risks we cannot mitigate. Always read reviews and profiles carefully before booking.

We have zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, violence, or discriminatory language.
• Requests for illegal services or substances.
• Fraudulent payment attempts or scamming.

If you feel uncomfortable or witness a violation of our policies, use the “Report” feature in the app immediately. Our 24/7 support team investigates all reports. Your identity will be kept confidential during investigations whenever possible.

In case of immediate physical danger or medical emergency, always contact local emergency services (dial 100 or 112 in India) first. Tourizzt provides an in-app SOS button for sharing your location with trusted contacts, but we are not a replacement for first responders.

Travel involves inherent risks ranging from minor injuries to severe weather events. By using Tourizzt, you acknowledge these risks. We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost belongings.
