A request is only a request until your Localite accepts it. If they can’t make your day, you are never charged.

Every Localite passes four checks, enforced in the app, before their profile goes live. We also tell you plainly what we don’t check.

How do I book a Localite?
Open the app, pick your city and dates, and browse Localites who are actually available. Send a request to the one you want. They accept, and only then do you pay.
When am I charged?
After your Localite accepts. Nothing is taken while a request is still pending.
What does Tourizzt charge?
A small platform fee and GST on top of your Localite's rate. Both are itemised on the payment screen before you pay, and there is no separate booking or convenience fee. A booking keeps the rates that applied when it was made, so a later change never affects it.
How are Localites verified?
Aadhaar identity verification by OTP, a live selfie captured in the app rather than uploaded, an 18+ age check taken from the Aadhaar date of birth, and VAHAN vehicle registration checks where transport is offered.
What if my Localite cancels?
You are refunded in full. If they never accepted, you were never charged.
